Now that I’m back at work my to-do-list keeps growing. Sure, work is not the only culprit here if we’re being honest here (which I try to be) because lately, I’ve been spending all of my free time adventuring in Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. I do miss having a so much time to do what I want like I had during my vacation.
Currently, my to-do-list is like this: bug fixing and add a couple of new features to Makro, continue the new coding project, start writing the new book you have in mind, play some AC: Odyssey and write stuff to this blog.
It’s not that many things but each of them takes quite a lot of time which I don’t seem to have at the moment. Being back at work and work-related stuff eats up around 11 hours per day (traveling etc) and on top of that, you can add a couple of hours per day for gym four days a week. I won’t even say anything about gaming or programming because I could spend pretty much all my time on those things.
All the whining aside, though, it’s nice to be back at work. I mean, as nice as working can be. I’m assigned to a rather big project which does have an impact on peoples lives so that’s nice. I’d be lying though if I’d say it didn’t have its challenges, especially at the start. Project that big is hard to get into and one can easily feel overwhelmed which I do. I’m sure I’ll get the gist of it eventually but it’s always a bit frustrating at the start because one feels so useless and, well, overwhelmed with everything. So I can’t wait to be at that point where I actually understand the project and I’m able to contribute to it. Hopefully, it won’t take that long.
